How to find the top 3 with LARGE, SMALL and RANK
Find the second largest or third smallest figure in a list with LARGE and SMALL, and give each figure its place with RANK.

MAX finds the largest figure. LARGE finds the 2nd largest, the 3rd largest, or any place you ask for.
- =LARGE(B2:B6,2)
- the 2nd largest figure in the range
- =SMALL(B2:B6,2)
- the 2nd smallest figure in the range
=LARGE(B2:B6,1) is the same as MAX, and =SMALL(B2:B6,1) is the same as MIN. A figure that appears twice takes two places.
