The tax year runs from 6 April to 5 April. Learn the dates that follow it, and sort income into the right tax year.

The tax year runs from 6 April in one year to 5 April in the next. It is named with both years, such as 2025 to 2026.
Income and expenses are sorted into tax years by their dates. Dev uses the cash basis, so the date the money arrived is the date that counts.
