An aged receivables report sorts what customers owe by how old it is. Use it to see what is overdue and who to chase first.

An aged receivables report lists every customer who owes money. Each balance is split into columns by the age of the invoices in it, counted in days from the invoice date.

Saltmarsh Coffee gives its customers 30 days to pay. So an invoice more than 30 days old is overdue: everything outside the 0 to 30 column.
