How INDEX and MATCH work together
MATCH finds where a value sits. INDEX fetches the cell at that position. Together they look up in any direction.

MATCH tells you where a value sits in a range, as a position counted from the top of the range. INDEX returns the cell at a given position in a range.

=MATCH("P03",A2:A6,0) returns 3, because P03 is cell number 3 of A2:A6. The 0 means an exact match.
=INDEX(B2:B6,3) returns cell number 3 of B2:B6, which is Ring binder.
