Every customer and supplier has an account code. Learn how a code is built, and what goes wrong when the wrong one is used.
Task 1Three kinds of code5 questions
Every credit customer and every credit supplier has an account code. A code must be unique: one code, one account.
- Numeric
- digits only, such as 1042
- Alphabetic
- letters only, such as JUNIPER
- Alphanumeric
- letters and digits, such as JUN001
Larkfield's customer codes are the first three letters of the name, then a number of three digits. A leading The is ignored.
